Broadcast Manager references (a small selection)


	The SPORTCAST GmbH produced in the season 2006/2007 612 matches of the 1. and 2. german soccer league on behalf of the Deutsche Fussball Liga GmbH (DFL). 100 matches of the season are produced in HDTV. When preparing a production SPORTCAST is putting its faith in the Enterprise Resource Management Software Broadcast Manager (BCM) from the Mainz Broadcast Concept Vertriebs GmbH. „The Broadcast Manager is a very great help during the central production coordination, which are mastered by SPORTCAST GmbH every week. In the past season over 10.000 staff bookings were smoothly processed with the helpfully BCM software", says the SPORTCAST organisation and development manager Alexander Günther. „The close and cooperative collaboration with the Broadcast Managers developers was a great help during the weekly production planning phase." 	During a 16-month project for the german sports TV producer in Ismaning the entire planning software in each scope of business were modified to the BCM-software. The ultimate intention was to assure the reliable call sheet management of numerous different bookings for studio- and outside productions or post- productions (graphics- and editing suites). Therefore, particular attention was paid to share just one database for all call sheet sections, to assure that all staff members work with exactly the same data. In close collaboration with the software specialists the planning views were adapted to the specific requirements of the full-service provider. The software must be greatly flexible to be able to implement short term change requests. Detailed analysis of production costs or interfaces to a payroll accounting system and a production number tool are included in each service package.
